Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Effective Date: November 7, 2025
Last Updated: November 7, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Goalweaver ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use our websites, applications, and related services (the "Service"). It is separate from our Privacy Policy and separate from our Terms of Service.

1) What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, phone) by websites and apps you visit. They are widely used to:

  • Make sites work efficiently
  • Remember your preferences or login status
  • Provide information to site owners about usage

We may also use similar technologies like pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage. This policy uses the term "cookie" to cover all such technologies.

2) What cookies do we use?

We typically use the following types:

Essential cookies. These are required for basic operations like maintaining your login session, routing traffic securely, and enabling core Service functionality. Without these, you cannot use the Service properly.

Analytics cookies. We use these to understand how users interact with the Service (e.g., which features are most popular, where errors occur, performance metrics). This helps us improve reliability and user experience.

Preferences cookies. These remember your settings (e.g., theme, language, UI preferences) so you don't have to reset them each time you return.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies for tracking you across third-party sites at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain consent.

3) First-party vs. third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by us (the site you are visiting). We use these for essential functions and analytics.

Third-party cookies are set by external services we integrate (e.g., AI providers for AI features, payment processors, or analytics tools). These services may set their own cookies under their own policies. We select providers carefully but do not control their cookies directly. Review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use through our Service.

4) How long do cookies last?

Session cookies expire when you close your browser or end your session.

Persistent cookies remain until their expiration date or until you delete them. We use persistent cookies for analytics and to remember your login or preferences over time (for example, a cookie that keeps you logged in for 30 days).

5) Your choices

Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using the Service.

Opt-out of analytics: If we use third-party analytics, you may be able to opt out via their tools (e.g., Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on). Check the documentation for the specific analytics provider if you want to opt out.

Do Not Track signals: Some browsers offer Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Currently, there is no standard for how to respond to DNT. We do not respond to DNT signals at this time.

6) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Cookie Policy.
